State-of-the art GPS technology allows the Sky Drive®
GPS speed sensor to drive any electronic
speedometer quickly and easily. Using our unique
calibration feature, the Sky Drive® can be
calibrated to match the requirements of your speedometer
in seconds,
and it can be done in the comfort of your own driveway
or garage.
With the Sky Drive® GPS speed sensor, there is no
need to know the tire size, gear ratio, or teeth on the
transmission speed output of the vehicle. Everything
is derived from incredibly accurate GPS satellite information.
Features:
- Accurate calibration in less
than a minute.
- Can be calibrated for mph,
kph, or knots.
- Odometers accurately tally miles, kilometers,
or nautical miles.
- Works on all pulsed electric
speedometers.
- Easy installation.
Uses as few as 3 wires to operate.
- No switches to set or pots to
turn.
- Stylish, compact enclosure;
easy to mount.
- Dimensions: 3.1"L x 2.1"W x
1"H.
- Bi-color LED for operational
feedback.

Optional Features:
- Multi-function output can provide
one of two optional features, which include:
- a complimentary speed
signal output, perfect for driving a tachograph or a second speedometer.
- a alternative ignition power
source, providing automatically switched
battery voltage based on the motion of the vehicle. Good for
vehicles that don't have an easily accessible ignition power wire.
- Calibratable over-speed warning output provides
switched battery voltage in the event of overspeeding.
Great for driving a warning lamp or switching a relay.
Speed limit calibration utilizes the same easy
to use calibration routine as when calibrating
the Sky Drive® to your speedometer.
- Both the alternative ignition and
over-speed warning wires are capable of driving a load up to 1.2 amps.

Calibration Procedure:
- Ensure the Sky Drive® is connected
to the speedometer it is being calibrated for, and
is powered on.
- Press and hold the calibration button
until the speedometer pointer begins to rise (about
5 seconds).
- Continue holding the calibration
button until the pointer begins approaching 50mph
(80kph).
- Release the calibration button and
begin tapping it for fine adjustment.
- Once the pointer reads as close as
possible to 50mph (80kph), release the calibration
button for 5 seconds. The pointer will return to zero.
The Sky Drive® has now been calibrated.
- If you pass the target speed, simply
allow the pointer to return to zero and try again.
There is no limit to the number of times the Sky Drive®
can be calibrated.
